Gondola pizza in Avon

The staff here is awesome, extremely kind and attentive! They truly believe in creating a positive customer experience. The gyros and salads were great. We will definitely come back here any time we are in town!

Small restaurant, so if you have more than 6 people in your party, you may have a hard time finding a place to sit. We ordered the stuffed cheese bread for an appetizer and the pesto pizza. The pesto pizza was good. I would have loved to taste the stuffed cheese bread but the kitchen staff or the wait staff forgot about it.

Gondola Pizza is a gem to have in Avon. The pizza is delicious. Last time we ordered, my two young boys ate a whole large just themselves. My favorite is the Med Pizza and Greek salad. The owners have amazing customer service and put their heart and soul into their business.

We were served by one of the owners (Eva) and what a hoot!! She was a blast and was so proud of her Pizza (rightfully so). At her suggestion my wife and I ordered a large pizza half Greek and the other half their famous "Dracula". Wow, the sauce, fresh ingredients and superb crust!!! Price? Well one of the most affordable meals you can have in Avon and get absolutely full. The decor inside was perfect and a wonderful place for couples or family. Outdoor seating was available as well. Don't miss this restaurant!

Great experience. We dined in and the service was just spectacular. Tried 2 different pizzas (Philly cheese steak and a mediterranean chicken) both of which were delicious. They have a good selection of beers and overall the price was very reasonable. We’ll definitely come back when we are in town.

Super friendly staff, economical lunch buffet and tasty soups. Pizza is average...tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. Cookies were tastier than they looked! Indoor and outdoor seating options are nice. Would certainly visit again.

We stopped by here on a trip to Beaver Creek. The staff is A+++++++. So friendly so kind, and made sure everything was Great. The food was also AMAZING!!!!! I love pizza and and this was so good. I will be back here again when we are back up here. YUMMY!!!!

Fantastic family eating. Our kids enjoyed the cheese pizza. My wife had BBQ, and I had the Dracula. All exceeded expectations - when the kids are scarfing down food instead of pestering each other you know the food is good. The Dracula had gypsy meats, giving it a unique smoky taste that I thoroughly enjoyed. Also the location is great with nice outdoor seating that gets evening shade. We will definitely eat here again next time we are back this way.

Presto pizza was good. Chicken wings were meaty. I approve.

UPDATE 2019: Still awesome pizza a year later! Same fresh ingredients and tasted just as good as the first time we were there! A great place to stop when you are in town. The lady (sorry I forgot her name!) at the counter was a delight and informative being that we had never been there before. The pizza came out hot and fresh with great fresh ingredients on it, it is in our top 5 for mountain pizza places. Loved the homemade hot sauce, not too spicy but tons of flavor that added to the pizza. We loved it and would recommend and will be back! Thank You to the business for being open on Labor Day too (or we might have been missing out!)

Outstanding!! The fried calamari is absolutely delicious! The pizza and salads so yummy and fresh!! I ordered for delivery and the guy who delivered was so friendly! Iva took my order and was so accommodating and patient! I highly recommend this place!

Wonderful little shop with delicious food and enchanting environment. The staff is very friendly and vibe in this place is to die for. There's a bar top if that's what you're looking for but I would highly recommend the food! We had the gyro sandwich and the Bbq chicken pizza. The flavors!! OMG! You'll kick yourself if you don't at least give it a shot!

The place itself it's so warm and cozy, the option for build-your-own-salad is perfect!! The small pizza can be for 2 people easily(I ordered a Chicken bacon ranch) delicious!! . The mac and cheese is different than the usual (penne pasta) with shredded cheese(super yummy). Gyro comes in a perfect size with a salad on a side. But the best was definitely the owners treat: Eva. She exceeded expectations on customer service. Always smiling even though she was super busy, she took good care of us :) 100% recommended.

Really good pizza and the best service I've had in a long time. This family owned and operated spot has a casual, cozy ambiance that was highly enhanced by the stellar attention we got from our server. I got a small cheese pizza and my companions ordered a medium Dracula. We were happy all around. I'll definitely come back next time we're in Vail.

Best pizza we've had in Avon and the owners are incredible people. Service was best we've had in years, her care, presentation, and candor were exemplary. I appreciate she took the time to ensure we were thoroughly enjoying the pizza and our drinks were always full. We got 2 pizzas and a salad - the pizza was incredible and not greasy!

We decided to check this place out after a long day of hiking and were pleasantly surprised. The Dracula pizza with the Romanian pepperoni, sausage and bacon was one of the best pizzas we have ever tasted. Friendly wait staff too. Definitely recommend.

As soon as we arrived, we were greet with excellent customer service. My wife and I both ordered wine and they hooked us up, like filled the glass up! Great patio and the food is excellent.

We wandered over there early one evening after reading great reviews. The reviews were right on. There were only three tables taken because we were there so early, but we received excellent service and the pizza was awesome. We ordered the extra large and my husband ate his weight in pizza and I still had two slices to take home. The pizza was tasty and the service great. The price was even better.

I was short on time so I ordered an appetizer to go. The lady bagged it up for me and last minute I decided to eat in. She welcomed me to sit at the bar and it was great! She even put out plates and silverware! So friendly. I will absolutely recommend this place to all coming thru Avon! And it was super clean too.

This was a great little find. I was in town for the weekend and have to be honest I didn't expect a whole lot, but this was a GREAT pizza in a cool little setting. I only get up here once a year for short period, but I will be a return customer.
